To All Wales Township Residents Formerly Serviced by Kimball Township for Fire and Medical First Response Services and Burn Permits:
Effective April 1, 2010, Fire Services for Wales Township residents living in the area formerly serviced by Kimball Twp. Fire Department and north of Lambs Rd. excluding Lambs Rd. itself and the half mile portion of Palms Rd. north of Lambs Rd. (see map) will be serviced by Emmett Fire Department.
Effective April 1, 2010, Fire Services for Wales Township residents living in the area formerly serviced by Kimball Twp. Fire Department and south of Lambs Rd. including both sides of Lambs Rd. and including both sides of the half mile portion of Palms Rd. north of Lambs Rd. (see map) will be serviced by Memphis Fire Department.
Burn Permits:
For Emmett Fire Department - a free 30 day permit can be picked up at Greenia's Service Center, 10820 Dunnigan Rd., Emmett, 48022; 810-384-9804
For Memphis Fire Department - a free 30 day permit can be picked up at the Memphis City Offices, 35095 Potter, Memphis, MI 48041; 810-392-2385. A permit may also be obtained by visiting www.memphisfd.com and select "Burn Permit".
